Drug and alcohol services for adults

There are a number of services which offer help and support for those experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol.​​

From 1st October 2015, WDP Havering is the new adult service replacing New Directions, First Stop and the Community Alcohol Team. ​


The service offers a free and confidential support service for individuals and their families affected by drug and alcohol problems. 

The service operates from a base on

The service consists of specialist teams which include substance misuse workers, doctors and nurses.

The service also includes volunteers and peer advocates offering a high quality and professional service that supports individuals and their families who wish to receive advice, assessment and treatment for their drug and/or alcohol problems.
